Course Outline: 
Understanding the mathematical representation of massage signals .To teach the analysis and synthesis of amplitude and angle modulation systems, learning the concepts of time and frequency division multiplexing. Ability to implement some communication systems. Course Contents: Amplitude and angle modulation techniques: Amplitude modulation, double sideband, single sideband, vestigial sideband modulation, frequency modulation. Super heterodyne receivers. Phase locked loops. Frequency division multiplexing, sampling theorem, pulse modulation techniques, time division multiplexing. Digital communication techniques such as ASK, FSK, PSK and hybrid modulation schemes. Textbook and/or References 1. Introduction to communication system, Ferrel Stremler , 1994, third edition 2.
