Objective

Students learn a bout the properties of fluids, conservation equations and their applications, dimensional analysis and similarity. The course is also an introduction to potential flow, boundary layers, and steady incompressible flow in pipes and ducts, there also applications to fluid machinery, review of conservation equations, general equations of fluid motion, isentropic flow, normal shock waves and oblique shock waves.
