A systematic review was carried out in Palestine on studies that contained a list of medicinal plants that were known and/or used in Traditional Arabic Palestinian Herbal Medicine (TAPHM) as part of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and that provided a list of the therapeutic indications of the species as well as presenting the scientific names of these species. The resulted inventory (BERC 2014 "National List of Medicinal Plants in Palestine - West Bank and Gaza Strip") comprises 368 plant species with their Latin name, Family name, English name, Arabic name, geographical region, growth form, abundance, blooming time, and the references that cited the plant. This national inventory of medicinal plants is expected to serve as a reference on herbs used in TAPHM.
