Research Interests: 
  • area of structural fire engineering and construction material characteristics at elevated temperatures. This involves experimental and analytical modeling of structural systems under extreme fire conditions, evaluating fire performance of high performing materials, performance based fire safety design, non-linear design and analysis of structures. His research interests are also in the area of pavement material characterization, performance modeling, management, and rehabilitation. In addition, his research interests include: (i) Earthquake engineering (dynamic behavior of structures) (ii) Behavior and design of high performing concrete structures. (iii) Design of steel structures.
