The following topics are covered: Chemical equilibria and it applications , electrochemistry , kinetic molecular theory of liquids and gases , conductivity and movement of ions , rates of chemical reactions and its applications , mechanisms of complex reactions , photochemical and photophysical reactions , collision theory , transition state theory , diffusion of gases , in addition to catalysis and surface chemistry .
