Research Interests:
research interests are in the area of structural fire engineering and construction material characteristics at elevated temperatures
This involves experimental and analytical modeling of structural systems under extreme fire conditions
evaluating fire performance of high performing materials, performance based fire safety design, non-linear design and analysis of structures
also in the area of composite materials and multi-scale modelling
In addition, developing simplified methods for analysis and design are in his field of interests
