Community Based Learning (CBL): What…Why… and How? A series of workshops aims to introduce the CBL to the university instructors. I give this workshop on semester bases at An-Najah National University for faculty members from different colleges. I have given the workshop also in three Palestinian Universities: Khodury University, Polytechnic University and Hebron University.
GIS as a Water Harvesting Tool (20 to 24 May, 2014): This was a training course given in collaboration with ICARDA, care and P.A.R.C. as part of the Enhancement the Livelihoods of Livestock Breeders in the West Bank Area (c) Project. The course emphasized the role of GIS as a tool in water harvesting by training participants on how to use GIS in runoff characteristics including digital elevation models (DEM), Flow Direction, Flow Accumulation, and Watershed areas.
