Research Interests: 
  • During the PhD a research was conducted to study the repeatability of Shack-Hartman aberometer and the Oculus Pentacam on normal subjects and a series of in-vitro studies were carried out to study the biomechanical and histological changes in the corneal tissue after applying different protocols of collagen cross-linking using normal and keratoconic corneas. A dissertation of 71, 375 words was submitted to the University of Manchester
  • During the MSc a research project was carried out to study the effect of multifocal contact lenses on peripheral refractive error. A dissertation of 10401 words was submitted to the University of Manchester
  • *Currently, I’m supervising the following research projects:
  • 1- Prevalence of Refractive Error among Preschool Children in Nablus City, Palestine
  • 2- The Prevalence of Inherited Color Vision Deficiency and its associated risk factors among Palestinian Medicine and Health Sciences Students
