Preferred Abstract (Original): 

The article discusses the study which aims to create a speaker recognition system to recognize speakers from their voices. It proposes a text-independent speaker identification system based on Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MCCC) as a feature extraction and Vector Quantization technique that would minimize the data required for data processing. It examines the correlation between the identification success rate and the various parameters of the system.
