Preferred Abstract (Original):
Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) is applied to formulate analytic solution of the
free particle radial dependent Schrödinger equation in N-dimensional space. This
method is based on the construction of a homotopy with an embedding parameter
dÎ0, 1 . The method shows its effectiveness, usefulness, and simplicity for obtaining
approximate analytic solution. In addition, some interesting cases are analyzed and the
effect of space dimension on the solution is pointed out.
