An-Najah Staff

I am a photovoltaic power systems professional. I hold a B.Sc. degree in electrical power systems from An-Najah National University, Palestine as well as a M.Sc.and a Ph.D degrees in photovoltaic power systems from National University of Malaysia, Malaysia. In addition i hold a Habilitation degree from University of Klagenfurt, Austria. Currently i am an assistant professor of renewable energy at a Najah National University 

So far, I have 2 patents, 2 published books and 90 published research articles meanwhile, my current h-index is 15. Moreover, I have supervised 5 Ph.D and 2 M.Sc researches.

I am  a senior member of IEEE as well as a member of IEEE Power and Energy Society, The International Solar Energy society, Jordanian Engineers Association, Palestinian Solar and Sustainable Energy Association and International Association of Engineers. 

My research interests mainly fall in the scope of photovoltaic systems and solar energy fundamentals. These interests include PV systems design, control and optimization, sun trackers, MPPT technology, inverters in PV system, solar chargers, solar energy modeling & prediction, AI applications for solar energy and PV systems, wind power systems.
