Preferred Abstract (Original):

Glass transition temperatures (T g) and molar volumes (V) of 13 glassy compositions of the Ge100−xx system were determined using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and density measurements, respectively. The variation of T g and V with the average coordination number m are examined in light of the models proposed for the structure of these covalently bonded solids.
