Preferred Abstract (Original):

Results are presented of the magnetization distribution in real-size Ni-Fe bubble overlay I-bars of differing dimensions and for various applied in-plane rotating fields. In addition, measurements have been made of the approach to saturation at the centre of the bars. The results are compared with previous experimental and theoretical results, all of which indicate that the magnetization within the bars is strongly influenced by demagnetizing effects.
