Research Abstract:

This research aimed to measure the impact of E-Learning on students` achievement in General Chemistry 1 (practical). The researcher has designed a quasi-experiment for this purpose. The Population of the study consisted of the students who had attended the class, and they counted 120 students distributed on 4 sections. 2 sections where chosen on purpose to be experimental and control groups. The number of students in the experimental group is 25, while the number of students in the control group is 30. The tool of the Research is the practical final exam of the course and the final grades in the course. Researcher compared the academic level of the students in the experimental group to students in the control group, by applying the t-test on the grades. The researcher found that there is no significant statistical difference between experimental and control groups in the final grade of the course. But there is a significant statistical difference between experimental and control groups in the grade of final practical exam of the course in general, for males, and engineering school`s students in the favor of the experimental group as the values of t, p<0.05 are consequently: 0.0047, 0.0234, 0.0104.
