Preferred Abstract (Original):

The low-lying energy levels of a two electron quantum dot are calculated. We solve the relative part Hamiltonian of the quantum dot presented in a magnetic field of arbitrary strength using shifted 1/N expansion method. The dependence of the singlet-triplet energy gap (J) on the strength of the magnetic field has been displayed. Based on comparisons, the shifted method gives very good results against exact and variation methods.
