This work is based on years of clinical sociology field experience in clinics,probation, prison, education and personal experience in addiction. New challenging perspective on addiction is provided along with types of addiction ( alpha, beta and Gamma) and stages of the addictive process and cognitive-emotive behavioral therapy ;CEBT treatment model. An integrated concept on addiction goes beyond the traditional common disease model on drugs and alcohol to touch upon other addiction types such as internet, gambling, sex and many more which represent a serious threat to the very inner peace of contemporary life style world wide.
