Abstract:

This research aims to identify and interpret the psychological and social incentives that affect the adoption and use of IT (Information Technology) in Palestinian schools. It will attempt to help find ways to overcome the potential obstacles that obstruct the ideal use of IT in the educational sector. In this research, the influence of social and psychological variables on IT use in schools was examined using TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). It was found that age, English language  skills, computer skills and technology availability have a positive impact on the teachers' attitude towards IT and the use of IT in the educational process.
