Abstract: 

This study aimed to know Lecturers attitudes at Al- Quds open University in Palestine concerning virtual classes as a model of E-learning, and see if variables of gender, years of experience, age, academic qualification, specialization, and a full-time academic impact on their attitudes and responses. The population of this study consisted of (758( Lecturers, (184) as a part- time Lecturers , and (574) is a full-time Lecturers, according to the staff affairs files at Al- Quds open University for the second semester of 2012/2013. The researcher used the descriptive method. The study sample was chosen as a stratified random sample, and the researcher identified the branches of Al Quds Open University in northern Palestine surveyed, so that the study was conducted on the Lecturers at the Al-Quds Open University, and the number was (300) Lecturers a rate of 39.57% of the population of the study, responded of them (232) Lecturers a rate of 30.6% of the population of the study. In order to achieve the objectives of this study the researcher prepared questionnaire consisting of (54), paragraph divided into 7 axes, virtual classes management, and the availability of the material and technical for virtual classes, and the environment for virtual classes, and technical support for the Lecturers, and evaluation and feedback, and scientific integration between the student and the curriculum in virtual class, and community and technology infrastructure which necessary to implement the virtual classes according to the Likert scale. To answer the first question, the averages and percentages were extracted for each paragraph, each area, and for the total degree of the tool. To examine the questions and hypotheses of the study, the following tests were used: One Sample T-test, T – test for independent groups, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Scheffe - post hoc Test The most important findings of the study: - The degree of faculty responses at Al- Quds open University in Palestine concerning virtual classes as a model of E-learning patterns from the point of view of the sample was very large. - There was no statistically significant differences at the significance level (∞ = 0.05) in the average responses of the Lecturers in the Al Quds Open University in Palestine towards the use of technology of virtual classes as a patterns of E-learning due to the variable sex, years of experience, age, qualification, and specialization and a full-time academic. - There were statistically significant differences at the significance level (∞ = 0.05) in the average responses of Lecturers at Al- Quds Open University in Palestine towards the use of technology of virtual classes as a model of E-learning patterns due to the variable sex at the axes of virtual classes management in the favor of males and in the scientific integration between the student and the curriculum in virtual class axes due to the variable age in favor of group of 25-35 years and the scientific integration between the student and the curriculum in virtual class axes, community and technology infrastructure which necessary to implement the virtual classes due to full-time academic in favor of full-time. The most important recommendations of the study: - Expanding the use of the scope of the the virtual classes of E-learning patterns in the branches of Al-Quds Open University and adopted it as a style of teaching at the university. - The provision of material and technical capabilities that serve the use of virtual classes techniques at Al-Quds Open University. - The training and rehabilitation for teaching staff in dealing with the virtual classes techniques.
