 The purpose of this study was to determine the attitudes of secondary school principals in the West Bank/ Palestine towards instructional supervisory process; furthermore, its purpose was to discover the effect of gender, years of experience, scientific degree and their interactions on those principals. The sample of the study comprised of (238) male and female secondary school principals. The researcher used a (42) items questionnaire to determine the principals’ attitudes after testing its validity and reliability. The questionnaire contains (4) domains: Planning, Professional Growth and Profession Development, Leadership and Decision Making, and Educational Evaluation. The results indicate that there was a high degree of principals’ attitudes of response amounted to (73.2%). Also, the study revealed the following results: 1. There were no significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to scientific degree variable in all domains of the study. 2. There were significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to gender variable in planning domain, in favor of female principals. 3. There were significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to years of experience variable in all domains, in favor of (more than (10) years of experience). 4. There were no significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to gender, and years of experience and interaction, in the domains of planning, professional growth and profession development, and educational evaluation, whereas, there was a significant difference in leadership and decision making domain, in favor of female principals of (more than(10) years of experience). 5. There were significant differences due to gender, years of experience, scientific degree, and interaction, in planning, leadership and decision making domains, in favor of female principals of (more than (10) years of experience) and hold a scientific degree of higher than B.A. Based on the study findings, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, such as reinforcement of the positive attitudes of secondary school principals in Palestine towards instructional supervisory process.
