Course Contents (description) |
This course aims to introduce students with the modern system analysis and design through the whole phases of the System Development Life Cycle. It focuses on -but not limited to – Structuring System Process vs. Logic requirements as Structured English, Decision Tables, Decision Trees the ER Model, DFD Diagrams

Course Objectives |
This Course aims to preparing students for their graduation projects or any project in professional life later on. In Addition Student will be able to select appropriate software origin for the organization and prepare a feasibility study.Student must be familiar with methods used in software development process in addition to using them in implementing real software and preparing a professional documentation as programmer’s manual & user’s manual for the selected software. |

Intended learning Outcomes and Competences

At the end of this course students should be able to; 1-use appropriate software development method for selected development a project. 2-do the planning phase and analysis phase appropriately. 3- Be able to implement the logical and physical design 4- Be able to use structured English, Decision Tables and Decision Trees according to selected case. 5-be aware of the development process 6-be aware of the maintenance process. 7- Ability to prepare software feasibility 8- Ability to select software for an organization. |
