Abstract

This research aims to clarify the determinants of visual design for the designing of urban public space of an Arab city, by studying all principles of plastic and techniques which work to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the physical space of the cultural identity of the Arabic city, which reflect, Arab nationality.
On the other hand, to clarify all the elements of urban space, which includes all the elements of street furniture, then to study the visual factors to understand the objects and the relationship of masses with each other, and factors upon which the process of human reading of the elements visually.
