The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the Intifada on women in Palestine. It is aimed to identify the effects of demograhic variables (age, marital status, level of education, occupational status, place of residence, family income, and number of family members) on the dependent variable, the degree of psychological pressures on Palestinian women. Furthermore it s aimed to high light the positive effects of the Intifada on Palestinian women. A stratified sample which consisted of a (900) women was selected randomly from different areas of North Palestine Districts. To collect the data, a questionnaire was built by the researchers, validated and applied to the sample of the study, and analyzed by the (SPSS) statistical program. The results of this study indicate: 1. The degree of psychological and social and economic effects was (69%) as an average of stress among Women in Palestine. Which means that the Palestinian women are suffering from the Israeli aggression on Palestinian people. 2. There are significant mean differences on the effect of psychological pressures related to the demographic variables of (age, social status, level of education, type of job, place of living, and family income). 3. There are no significant mean differences of the effect of the psychological effects related to demographic variables of the number of family members, and the degree of violent events women under went. In spite of the negative effects of Israeli aggression on Palestinian women, they showed awareness towards better use of time with their families and towards boycotting Israeli goods. They also showed awareness towards a positive resistance of the Israeli occupation for the sake of establishing an independent Palestinian state.
