Abstract: 

This study aimed to identify the reality of secondary public schools principals applying of transformational leadership and it's relation with organizational climate at districts of northern of the West Bank. In addition, the study aimed to test the differences in points of view due to sex, qualification, experience and specialization on the reality of applying transformational leadership and its relation with organizational climate. The study population consisted of all principals at the secondary public schools in the West Bank. They were (652) principals. The study sample consisted of (288) principals, approximately (44.1%) of the study. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire based on literature and related studies. The questionnaire validity was achieved by a panel of referees. The two reliability coefficients was computed by Cronbach Alpha equation. The reliability coefficient of transformational leadership was (0.91) while the reliability coefficient of the ability of organizational climate was (0.87). Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) with T-test and ANOVA. The study revealed the following results: First: There is a very high level of transformational leadership and organizational climate from principals' points of view. Second: There are no significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) between the means of applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the principals points of view, due to sex except the domains of school vision, group goals, teachers performance, work models, intellectual stimulating, total degree of the transformational leadership, productivity, exemplary at work and the total degree of organizational climate in favor of males. Third: There are no significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) between the means of applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the principals points of view, due to qualification except the domain of group goals in favor of M.A holders and above. Fourth: There are no significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) between the means of applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the principals points of view, due to experience except the domains of school vision, group goals and teachers performance in favor of the more experienced principals. Fifth: There are no significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) between the means of applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the principals points of view, due to specialization. Sixth: There is a positive significant correlation at the level (α = 0.05) between applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the principals points of view. Accordingly to the findings of the study results, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations, including: 1- Disseminating transformational leadership culture between principals and training them on transformational leadership as this study showed that the relation and the effect of transformational leadership on improving school organizational climate from the study sample points of view. 2- The necessity of studying the leadership practices closely, analyzing them in quantitative and qualitative manners and generalizing them over all secondary schools as this study showed that study sample practiced the transformational leadership in a very high level. 3- Conducting studies about the levels of applying transformational leadership and organizational climate from the teachers points of view as this study sample was the principals. 4- Guiding researchers toward studies focus on possible relations in school environment as studying the relation between transformational leadership with other administrative issues, or studying the relation between transformational leadership with administrative practices at school.
