Abstract: 

The study aimed at exploring the status of educational accountability and total quality in UNRWA schools and the relationship from the perspective of their principals. The study population consisted of (91) principals who were all chosen. And to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire following the literature review, and the questionnaire's validity was proven through reviewing it by an arbitration committee. The coefficients of reliability for educational accountability and total quality were extracted through Cronbach's Alpha and their total was (0.94), and the data were analyzed using SPSS. The study has reached the following results: 1- There is a high status in educational accountability and total quality in the UNRWA schools from the viewpoints of principals . 2- There is a significant positive correlation among the means of the principals' views in the areas of implementing the educational accountability and the total quality in the UNRWA schools in the West Bank from the viewpoints of principals . Upon the aforementioned results the researcher recommended the following : 1- The necessity to improve the communication cannels between the schools principals at the UNRWA and the education administration which may lead to a better investigation of the scholar educational accountability . 2- The necessity to train the principals of the UNRWA schools on problem solving , that this may lead to raising the level of total quality , improve the occupational development of the principals and enhance their abilities in school administration . 3- Guiding the researchers to study possible relations within school environment as studying the relation between total quality and administrative problems or studying the relation between the educational accountability and students achievement or teachers performance.
