Abstract: 

This study aims at identifying the effectiveness of the administrative monitoring and its relation to the occupational performances among the governmental principals in the West Bank Governorates according to teachers perspectives. Also, it aims at identifying some study variables like (gender, academic qualification, years of experience, specialization and school location and directorate location). For achieving the study purpose, a questionnaire consists of two parts (administrative monitoring and occupational performances ) and eight domains; organizational structure, monitoring environment and monitoring techniques for the first part ; administrative domain, technical domain, human relations, students affairs and ,school structure and equipments for the second part , and 92 items has been developed, subjected for judgment ,measured by validity, distributed among 368 teachers , gathered, codified, entered the computer and statically processed by using the Statistical Package of the Social Science (SPSS). The study results showed a high response on the study question of the effectiveness of the administrative monitoring. Similarly, a high degree appeared on the responses towards the domain of (occupational performances). Also, the study results showed that there are significant relationship of (0.756) at (α=0.05) level between the effectiveness of the administrative monitoring and the occupational performances. Moreover, there are significant differences at ( α=0.05) level among the responses means about the effectiveness of the administrative monitoring among the governmental principals in the West Bank Governorates according to Teachers perspectives due to the variables of gender and school location for the male and (city location ) . On the other hand, there are significant differences at ( α=0.05) level among the responses means about the effectiveness of the administrative monitoring among the governmental principals in the West Bank Governorates according to teachers perspectives due to the variables academic qualification, specialization, years of experience and the directorate location. The study results also revealed that there are significant differences at ( α=0.05) level among the responses means about the effectiveness of the occupational performances among the governmental principals in the West Bank Governorates according to Teachers perspectives due to the variables of gender and school location for the male and (city location ) . On the other hand, there are significant differences at (α=0.05) level among the responses means about the effectiveness of the occupational performances among the governmental principals in the West Bank Governorates according to teachers perspectives due to the variables academic qualification, specialization, years of experience and the directorate location . According to the study results, several recommendations have been suggested, included the necessity for developing training sessions for principles, the importance of the duty organizational guidance, the need for developing administrative monitoring in the governmental schools in addition to encouraging the researches in this field of study
