The study tackles floods in the West-Bank as events accompanied with negative economic, logistic and urban impacts, in addition to the temporary disturbance of daily life in the areas where a flood takes place. It deals with two types of floods which are represented by water covering more than 4.65 quadrate kilometers of Marj Sanour that is famous for its production of vegetables and crops. The flood probability causes high risks for agriculture in this plain. The study also deals with the flood in Wadi Az-Zoumer as a case study of floods in West-Bank wadis (valleys). Floods usually occur after intensive (heavy) rain. The study tackles also the phenomenon of floods according to rain data and human activities that increase flood impacts on the sectors of industry, urbanization, transportation and agriculture and includes the suggested solutions for both types of flood problems.
